• Communication is limited on numerous fronts.
• Internal staff lacks the time to keep abreast of current technology.
• Solutions are outdated before they are even complete.
• Specifications are vague or inaccurate.
• Implementers over-promise and under-deliver.
• Crucial knowledge resides with only a small number of people.
